Happy Tails has morning & afternoon pick-up & drop-off hours on Mon to Sat.
On Sunday we have only afternoon pick-up & drop-off hours.
We begin charges from the first day of boarding whether you drop-off during our morning or afternoon hours. If you drop-off in the morning, then you will be charged one day of boarding each morning thereafter. If you drop-off in the afternoon, then you will be charged one day of boarding each afternoon thereafter. If you pick-up past your daily anniversary from your morning or afternoon drop-off time, then you will be charged for an additional day of boarding.
As a family run business, we have only afternoon hours on Sunday. If your dog(s) were previously dropped-off for their boarding during our morning hours, and then you chose to pick-up your dog(s) on Sunday during our afternoon hours you will be charged for an additional day of boarding.
When you create a Boarding or Daycare Reservation through your Happy Tails Paw Partner account you will see a calculation of the estimated charges. Your pending Reservation Request will then be reviewed soon thereafter by a Happy Tails Team Member & a confirmation message emailed to you. Payment for Boarding, Daycare, or other Services are to be settled by or before pick-up of your dog(s).
HOLIDAY BOARDING RESERVATIONS include any of the dates two days before and two days after the recognized holiday, and require a 50% Deposit at time of booking. If you cancel your Holiday Boarding Reservation at least 14 days prior to the boarding start date, then 100% of Deposit will be applied as a credit to your Happy Tails Account.
You are encouraged to bring at the time of drop-off, sufficient food for your dog(s) during their scheduled boarding reservation. In which case there is typically no extra charge for Happy Tails to feed your dog(s) during their boarding. Happy Tails will mark & store your dog(s) food at the time of drop-off. Normally dogs are segregated during feeding, and feed twice daily at Happy Tails. If needed, Happy Tails can provide food for your dog (a premium brand dry dog food), at a cost of $2 to $5 per feeding, based upon the size of your dog.

You will be required to sign our Boarding and Daycare Agreement during set-up of your Happy Tails Paw Partner account.
We are using the Positive Reinforcement approach. We use boiled chicken as a high value treat when interacting with dogs so that they have a positive association with us handling them.
Our FAQs
For most dogs, being in a private & spacious indoor/outdoor kennel run next to other dogs provides ongoing stimulation. For energetic &/or anxious dogs, order treats or extras for your dog including a walk or ball time.
We encourage each owner to bring their dog’s own bedding & even a favorite toy, as their dog will be less stressed with these familiar items. Otherwise, we are happy to provide a blanket and/or cot to make every effort to keep your dog comfortable.
Go to our RESERVATIONS page to set up your free Happy Tails Paw Partner account, and then schedule a Reservation for your dog online through your account.
We do want to see/know how your dog(s) get along with other dogs. If you schedule a visit to the Happy Tails kennel and farm, and bring your dog we will make an initial informal assessment of your dogs temperament & compatibility. Dogs that have a history of biting or show aggression will not be allowed to play in a group, but could still get private walks or ball time.
Yes, but you will still be charged for the full amount of your original Boarding Reservation, since we reserved that space for your dog and kept it available for you. NOTE: There is an additional $20 charge for pick up outside our regular drop off and pick up times of 7:30AM to 9AM Mon-Sat or 4:30PM to 6PM Mon-Sun.
Our boarding requirements are that dogs must be current on their Distemper, Rabies and Bordetella vaccinations unless a waiver is provided by a veterinarian. After you set up your Happy Tails Paw Partner account, you’ll be able to easily upload your current vaccination records through Paw Partner. Please confirm that your dog’s vaccine records are current before your dog arrives at our facility. For the safety of your dog and all our other pups, any dog arriving without proof of vaccines will not be able to stay.
Yes. We have six extra large runs most suitable for larger dogs or multiple dogs from the same household.
Our Kennel runs are individual to keep unfamiliar dogs separated. Additionally, dogs in Daycare, or Boarding Daycamp, may participate in Group Play or walks w/ up to a half dozen other dogs.
Yes, if your dog’s temperament indicates sociability, then your dog can be eligible for Daycare Camp for Boarders which includes four group play daily for only an additional $15/day. Otherwise your dog would be eligible for only private walks &/or ball play.
Yes, through the free “Timeline” feature of your Happy Tails Paw Partner app you will be notified via email when we Post (upload & tag) a picture of your dog to the Happy Tails Business Timeline in Paw Partner. We make an effort to regularly post pictures of the dogs at Happy Tails, especially those dogs that get Group Play or Walks or Ball Play.
Yes, if your dog’s medications & administration schedule are detailed on your Pet Profile in our PawPartner system, and you supply us the medications at Drop Off, then we can administer the medications, including insulin shots, for only a $1 charge per administration.
As per our Boarding & Daycare Agreement, we first attempt to contact the owner immediately to make decisions regarding treatment. Your dog’s well being is a critical mission for us & we will do all we can for them, including get them needed treatment or care if you are unavailable.
